exchanges

 My first exchange

In March my family and I had a french student at home like the rest of my classmates. My french student was called Prosper, he was 14 years old, he was very shy and distant but not all the french students were so. The french students were separated into goups and my classmates and I tried to be all together.

In the mornings, we went to sightseeing to Valencia and we saw the most important monuments, "la Albufera", Valencia´s City of Arts and Sciences...and in the afternoons we did several plans like going to have a drink (Horchata), visiting The best light street or seeing the fireworks at night

Last month I went to exchange Normandy, France with my fellow institute. I stayed with a family: the parents and three brothers and my exchangemate was the little one. Everyone was very hospitable to me and I felt very comfortable with them  The house was enormous and they had a garden with a trampoline!!!  they had two cats too. The mother called Carol spoke English fluently and one of the brothers spoke Spanish very well so we could talk without problems.

We went to sightseeing to Normandy without French students but we went with the teachers. I really liked the calm that transmitted the place, people did not seem stressed!

It was a great experience...
